A birdwatching trip filled with impressive sightings!
Come and join us for an unforgettable birdwatching tour in Karvia! The tour is organised by photographer Seppo Myllyviita and the agritourism destination Loma-Raiso. The main attraction on the tour are rare birds belonging to the biological order Caprimulgiformes. The birdwatching tour is a perfect combination of photography and physical activity, topped off with a chance to experience Finnish nature on a beautiful summer night.
The tour starts with an orientation held by the tour guide at Loma-Raiso, where the participants can also enjoy a delicious dinner. The participants will then be led to Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park for a forest hike of around 4–5 kilometres.
Finally, the night-time trip is topped off with roasting sausages at the kota hut, and Loma-Raiso’s traditional sauna is also available for an additional fee!
